Our Projects

As an organisation, we are motivated to safeguard a child’s rights to justice and empowerment.

Protecting trafficked survivors

One of SUKA Society’s main aims is to help trafficked survivors cope with the effects they are going through. This is done through therapeutic programmes that help survivors learn how to deal with their trauma and stress.

Creating greater access to education

Empowered 2 Teach was developed in response to the challenges faced by the indigenous community with regards to education. It aims to empower the
indigenous community by giving them
a greater access to education.

Implementing Community Placement and Case Management (CPCM)

We currently implement a holistic community placement and case management programme that specifically looks into the protection concerns of unaccompanied and separated children in the country. This programme is part of our initiative to advocate for alternatives to detention of children.

Advocating for children's opinions

Suka Society published a series of three booklets aimed at promoting the opinions of youths and children on important issues.
