CPCM Programme Evaluation

We currently implement a holistic community placement and case management programme that specifically looks into the protection concerns of unaccompanied and separated children in the country. This programme is part of our initiative to advocate for alternatives to detention of children. By implementing a case management system, we are creating a robust model that protects unaccompanied and separated children who are currently living within marginalised communities. The case management model focuses on the core areas of safety, permanency and stability and well-being.

In 2019, an independent evaluation exercise was carried out on the programme. This short video provides a brief summary of the evaluation results and how case management can help reduce unnecessary detention and provide better protection for unaccompanied and separated children. We hope that this inspires you to get involved in the work and to improve the lives of unaccompanied and separated children.
